Creating a Pack - NR3180

The NR3180 form is a critical document for utilising line blockages. Accurail integrates this form seamlessly into your Safe Work Pack (SWP), ensuring all necessary information is captured accurately. Let's explore how to complete this form effectively:

1. Locate the "Line block required" checkbox.
2. Check this box to activate the NR3180 section.
3. If you need multiple line blockages, use the "Add NR3180" button to create additional forms.

• Enter the start date and time of the line blockage.
• Specify the end date and time when the line will be handed back.
• Ensure these times align with your overall work schedule and any possession details.

• Enter the unique identifier for this line blockage.
• This number is typically provided from your Line Blockage application.

• Specify the signal box controlling the area of your line blockage.
• This should match the information in your Signal Box & ECO section.

1. Click "Add Row" to input details for each line requiring a blockage.
2. All fields here are free text boxes, allowing for precise descriptions.
3. Include:
   • Line name
   • Specific section to be blocked (e.g., "Between signal GK44 and WN145")
   • Any additional relevant details

• By default, this is set to "No".
• If your work will impact the safety of the line, change this to "Yes" using the toggle button.

• If your work requires protection beyond a standard line blockage, check "Yes".
• This will open a dropdown menu with various types of additional protection.
• Select which apply to your work.

• Double-check all times, dates, and line details.
• Inaccuracies can lead to safety risks and operational disruptions.

• Ensure your NR3180 details align with other parts of your SWP, especially possession details and work schedules.

• If your work requires multiple blockages (e.g., on different days or lines), create separate NR3180 forms for each.
• This ensures clarity and prevents confusion.
