Creating a Pack - Location Information

Accurate location details are crucial for any Safe Work Pack (SWP). This section in Accurail allows you to precisely define where the work will take place. Let's explore how to effectively use this feature:

Overview of location information, including ELR limits, start mileage, and end mileage

• Use the 'Add Row' functionality to include more than one ELR.
• This is particularly useful for work spanning multiple line sections.

After entering all relevant ELRs, it's crucial to complete one final step:

• Sectional Appendix information is loaded.

• Relevant signal diagrams become available.

• Hazard information specific to the location may be populated.

1. Be as Specific as Possible:

   • The more precise your location information, the more accurate the associated data will be.

2. Check for Overlaps:

   • If adding multiple ELRs, ensure there are no unintended overlaps in mileage.

3. Consider Access Points:

   • While adding ELRs, think about how they relate to your access and egress points (which you'll define next).

4. Update as Necessary:

   • If work locations change during planning, always update this section and re-confirm to ensure all associated data is current.
