Welcome to the Accurail documentation. Here you'll find everything you need to plan, verify, and manage Safe Work Packs (SWPs) across the Accurail Web and Mobile applications. Whether you're a Planner, a Person In Charge (PIC), or a Responsible Manager, this guide will help you get up and running quickly.
Mobile App Required for SWP Usage
To actually use your Safe Work Packs on site, you'll need the Accurail mobile app. Planning and management can be done via the website, but pack verification, briefings, and completion must be done on the mobile app.

Quick Start
1. Sign-up & activate your account
Follow the guide in Signing-up to create an account, then ask your administrator for activation. If you've already been invited, simply follow the email link to set your password.
2. Log in on the Web & Mobile apps
With an active account you can sign-in via the Web at https://accurail.co.uk/login or download the Mobile app from the App/Play Store. See Logging-in for screenshots of both flows.
3. Configure your profile
Add your contact number, upload a signature and set a PIN so you can sign SWPs out in the field. See Account Settings.
4. (Planners) Create and issue your first Safe Work Pack
The Creating a Pack section covers every form and attachment, but to get started quickly review:
- SWP General Information
- Location Information
- Task Risks
- Access & Egress
When you're happy, publish the pack — the assigned PIC will receive a push notification.
5. (PIC) Verify & utilise the pack on site
On your mobile device open the pack, confirm location and hazards, then start your shift. The PIC Utilising a Pack guide walks through each action, including adding repeat SWPs and returning the pack once the job is complete.
